Solid and very reliable Peugeot 406 2.0 HDI 110 for raffle. 124,000 miles, which should not be a major concern to those in the know given the reputation that Peugeot has for the strength and durability of their 'bomb proof' HDI engines.

I have owned the car for the past 9 years, over which time I have driven it over 90,000 miles, proving itself to be a 100% reliable workhorse. Bodywork has some minor dents and scrapes, which is unsurprising given this is a 17 year old car that has been regularly driven, but these do not badly affect the overall look of the car. There is no corrosion on the body panels, which is one of the good points about these cars - they don't rust.

Regularly serviced and fitted a second new cam belt at around 98,000 miles. More recent maintenance has included an overhaul of the brakes, replacement catalytic converter, new starter motor and a new battery Tyres are good, with reasonable remaining tread within legal limits. Extensive service and maintenance records come with the car, which has 6 months MOT remaining. The off-side front suspension drop link is worn and logged as an advisory on the current MOT - a replacement link costs around £70. Central locking does not work remotely, but the solenoids for all four doors and the boot work correctly when the key is turned in both the drivers and passenger side doors. The car comes with two coded keys.

Interior is in reasonably good condition for the age of the car, with no tears or rips to the seats and upholstery, and there is no missing trim. Fully working Pioneer DAB radio/CD player. £15 a ticket or 3 for £40 usual crack 1-59 cheap car for £15
