The Great Oasis Rip Off

So we begin with a story of hope destroyed by the corporate world.
You all know of Oasis, in Mallusk, who supply gaming and machines across our province to bars bookies and many many sites.
Our post is about Tommy, a man with a long term illness which robs him of the ability to work and feel whole. So Tommy, like so many of us, decided to play one of the Oasis machines with his last few quid in Ballymena in an attempt to have a little luck and if he did he could treat the wife and kids to a surprise. Can you imagine how he felt when he got the jackpot, his head filled with joy and plans on how he could really treat the family, maybe a wee holiday.
So gobsmacked was Tommy that he took out his phone and took a photo to send to the wife so she could share in their incredible good luck.
Next he pressed the collect button and his happiness collapsed when the machine did not pay out his legitimate winnings but gave a malfunction message instead.
Since that time Tommy has been given nothing but BS from all the staff at Oasis. The MD Martin refused to talk at all for weeks and when he did finally contact Tommy he told him that he was outside their time limit for such claims Then he all but called Tommy a liar and fraudster who could have photoshopped the photos of the win.
I tried to contact Martin and was surprised at how many meetings, lunches, time off that one man could have and I never got a statement from him.
Since this all occurred I have heard of many many other people who did not get their winnings, at the same outlet in Ballymena.
Tommy was told that a machine is allowed, legally, 2 malfunctions per year but surely with photographic proof an decent company would honour the win, not Oasis.
