Hiring Head Chef
Burger and fine fast food experience

Responsible for the overall operation and coordination of the Takeaway Resturant ensuring that the quality of the food prepared is at the highest standard of taste and presentation ensuring HACCP guidelines are adhered to at all times

Key Duties
* Overall responsibility for the catering of Goodwin’s Restaurant
* To create new dishes and menus for the Goodwins Restaurant and assist the Head Chef in preparation of other menus
* To assist the Executive Head Chef in interviewing, hiring and training new staff
* To manage and develop the kitchen team
* To liaise with other departments to ensure the smooth running of operations activities
* Responsible for maintaining/raising the food’s profit margins
* Monitoring and controlling stock levels ensuring correct stock rotation procedures are followed
* Responsible for implementation of Health & Safety procedures in the kitchen
* Responsible for assisting the Executive Head Chef in preparation of the kitchen roster ensuring the contractual obligations are met
Health & Safety Duties
* To have responsibility for the health, safety and welfare of staff and others and to comply at all times with the requirements of the Health and safety regulations, Employment legislation and common law.

* To read, understand and comply with your responsibilities as defined in the Health and Safety Statement and Staff Handbook.

* To ensure that all fire doors are closed and that fire routes are kept clear at all times.

* To be aware and comply with hotel policy regarding: Fire, Health & Safety, Hygiene, Food Hygiene, Customer Care and Security.

* To comply with the hotel’s no smoking policy while on the premises.

Occasional Duties
* To attend training sessions as required by management.
* To attend meetings and document key information and decisions.
* To carry out any other reasonable request made by management.

Salary
Wages will be discussed.
Oppourtunties of getting equity of the new Takeaway resturant.
